Podcast Story from Renee Stern

Settle in to listen to a story about a farmer in a possible future and his tug of war with technology. A new podcast from The Overcast brings one of Fairwood member Renee Stern's stories to life. 

 "A Touch of Frost," originally published in the 2013 anthology Looking Landwards, is narrated and produced by The Overcast's J.S. Arquin.

Looking Landwards

Fairwood member Renee Stern turns her experience as an agricultural reporter into a look at one possible future for farming in "A Touch of Frost," one of 23 stories you'll find in Looking Landwards.

Just released by NewCon Press, the anthology commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Institute of Agricultural Engineers by examining what might lie ahead for farming, agricultural engineering and all of us.

Gears and Levers 3, a steampunk anthology edited by Phyllis Irene Radford, includes 14 stories from Rhiannon Louve, David Boop, Renee Stern and others.

Congratulations to Renee Stern, whose story "Red Hell", which appeared in Black Gate #14 in winter 2010, was selected as a starred story for Tangent Online's Recommended Reading List for 2010.
